Dear A-Essers,
Have you ever been to a UNESCO world heritage site? Yes? Okay, cool, but nevertheless you should come with us to the Eise Eisinga planetarium in Franeker, the oldest working planetarium in the world. Not just in the municipality of Waadhoeke, not just in the Netherlands, not just in Europe. No, in the entire world!
We are expected to depart just before 10:00 from Utrecht Central station, to Franeker. Take into account that the travel time is a cozy 2 hours and 45 minutes before we arrive in picturesque Franeker (don't worry, we will arrange snacks and amusement for the road). In the middle of this cute village is the Eise Eisinga planetarium, which by the way was named a UNESCO world heritage site in 2023. Our time slot starts at 13:00. We expect to spend about 1 to 2 hours here, after which we will have a drink in the centre of Franeker for those who are interested. At 16:00 we will depart back to Utrecht Central.
We hope you'll come with us to the Eise Eisinga planetarium (a UNESCO world heritage site!)
Greetings from space,
KomeetCie
