Come join us at the Sonnenborgh Observatory on June 16 at 3:15 PM!
The historic observatory is located right in the center of Utrecht, built on top of a bastion, and has a very rich history. It's the place where none other than Minnaert and Buys Ballot became well-known for their research. There are several large telescopes and even a real planetarium that we can go into.
Tickets cost only €5.55 (normally €9.00 for admission), and that includes a free guided tour!!! With guidance from Jelmer and Jiri (public guides at Sonnenborgh), we’ll spend about an hour and a half exploring the museum. After that, you can head straight to the borrel or just enjoy hanging out in the city.
Greetings from space,
The KomeetCie
