One day, two simultaneous parts: the Physics Festival on the Domplein, for everyone, and the Student Challenge, in the Academiegebouw, specifically for physics students.
The Utrecht Physics Challenge is a brand new physics event organized by Utrecht University's Physics Department (EMMEPH) and study association A-Eskwadraat. On the 6th of May we will celebrate, promote and practice physics in thecity centre of Utrecht.
STUDENT CHALLENGE
Physics students of all levels will compete against each other in the Student Challenge. A professional app developed specially for this event registers the points they earned during one of the many interactive lectures in the Academiegebouw or while exploring the Physics Festival at the Domplein. The student with the most points at the end of the day wins a balloon flight!
PHYSICS FESTIVAL
The Physics Festival is the place where student, professor and interested non-physicists will meet: it is open to everyone! Breathtaking experiments, thrilling games, spectacular shows, delicious food and an almost all-knowing expert panel will make the 6th of May a physics day to never forget!
