The Career Symposium is the first and biggest event of the Career Month. This year, it takes place on May 1st, from 15:00 till 19:00 in Ruppert Blauw and Wit. 

The symposium consists of two parallel sessions, one focused on physics, the other on mathematics. However, you are encouraged to follow talks from the other session if you find those more interesting. Each session consists of three lectures of 45 minutes each, given by representatives of the participating company.

After the symposium, there are free pizzas and drinks available for all participants. This is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you might have to the company speakers.

This year, participating companies include d-fine, Thales and TNO, and more will be announced later! Abstracts and the precise planning will also be announced later. 

For mathematics bachelor students: due to the size of the event, lectures are canceled this day so that everyone has the chance to join. Moreover, one can hand in a summary of one of the talks at the symposium for the “Caleidoscooplezing”.
