It sounds like a cliche, but it doesn't make any less true. Companies are relying ever more on IT and networks. This means that e-business (the way commerce is practiced via networks) takes an increasingly important role withing companies.
E-business is a hot topic in the world of IT and that's one of the reason we decided to organize a symposium about this subject. We will have several very interesting speakers that will delve into the matter. Highlights of the day will be the lectures by Robbert Kuppens (CIO Cisco Systems Europe) and professor Joe Peppard (Cranfield School of Management, known from the book used in the information science course SMOI).
Although the subject is in the information science ballpark, it is also interesting for people with an interest in corporate life.
The ticket includes a free lunch and drinks afterwards. We would like to ask you to either buy your tickets at A-Eskwadraats bookstore (BBL-238, open between 11:30 en 13:30), register on the website or send us an e-mail. Otherwise we can't guarantee you will be able to participate.
