Departement Board Physics and Astronomy

The head of department is in command of the department with regard to education and research. He appoints the department board. Besides the head there is a Director of Education and a Director of Research in the board and they are supported by a board secretary and an advising student member.

Sections

The Director of Education is responsible for the bachelor programme. The department of Physics and Astronomy has nine other research sections (Dutch). One section can consists of one or more research programmes all supported by a chair. Research programmes participate in research institutes and schools.
